What is GOANY E-Bike?
GOANY E-Bike lets you explore Takayama on a powerful electric-assist bicycle.
Our e-bikes are ENGWE models with pedal-assist technology — hills and longer distances become effortless.
Whether you're heading to Sanmachi Suji, the Miyagawa Morning Market, or Hida Folk Village,
you'll cover more ground with less effort.

電動アシスト付きなので坂道も長距離も楽々。
三之町・宮川朝市・飛騨の里など、車では入りにくいエリアも快適に移動できます。

How to Use
STEP 1 — CHECK AVAILABILITY
Check that an e-bike is available at your accommodation's parking area.
施設の駐輪スペースでe-bikeがあることを確認してください。
STEP 2 — SCAN & PAY
Scan the QR code at the bike station and pay via Stripe.
Credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay accepted.
QRコードをスキャンしてStripeで決済。クレカ・Apple Pay・Google Pay対応。
STEP 3 — RECEIVE YOUR CODE
Your LOCKIN key box code will be sent to your email or SMS automatically.
LOCKINのコードがメール・SMSで自動送信されます。
STEP 4 — UNLOCK & RIDE
Enter the code into the LOCKIN box, take the key, and start riding.
コードをLOCKINに入力して鍵を取り出し、出発。
STEP 5 — RETURN
Return the bike to the same spot, lock it with the wire lock, and put the key back in the LOCKIN box.
元の場所に戻してワイヤーで施錠し、鍵をLOCKINに返却。
STEP 6 — EXTEND (OPTIONAL)
Need more time? Simply scan the QR code again and pay for an additional day.
延長したい場合は再度QRをスキャンして追加決済するだけ。
Availability
No reservation required. E-bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Simply check that a bike is parked at your accommodation — if it's there, it's yours to rent.
予約は不要です。e-bikeは先着順でご利用いただけます。
施設の駐輪スペースにe-bikeがあればそのままレンタル可能です。
To confirm availability in advance, please contact your accommodation directly.
事前に空き確認をご希望の場合は、宿泊施設に直接お問い合わせください。
Operating season: April through November (recommended)
E-bikes may be available year-round, however we cannot guarantee safe road conditions
during winter months (December through March) due to snow and ice.
Use during winter period is entirely at the rider's own risk.
GOANY accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries occurring during the winter period.

Traffic Rules in Japan
⚠ As of April 2026, fines now apply to bicycle violations in Japan.
Please follow all traffic rules carefully.
2026年4月より、自転車の交通違反にも反則金制度（青切符）が適用されています。
交通ルールを必ず守ってください。
· Ride on the LEFT side of the road at all times
常に道路の左側を走行してください
· Obey all traffic signals and stop signs
信号・一時停止を必ず守ってください（違反：反則金あり）
· Riding on sidewalks is generally prohibited
歩道走行は原則禁止です
· Do NOT use your smartphone while riding
走行中のスマートフォン使用は禁止
— Fine up to ¥100,000 / 最大10万円の罰金（2024年11月施行）
· Do NOT drink and ride
飲酒運転は厳禁
— Fine up to ¥500,000 / 最大50万円の罰金（2024年11月施行）
· Do NOT wear both earphones while riding
両耳イヤホンでの走行は禁止です
· Use your headlight after dark
夜間はライトを点灯してください（無灯火：反則金あり）
· Helmet use is strongly recommended
ヘルメット着用を強く推奨します（法律上の努力義務）
Liability & Disclaimer
GOANY E-Bike Rental is operated by SOAR.
All e-bikes are covered by liability insurance (up to ¥100,000,000)
through the Japan Bicycle Safety Measures Council.
GOANYのe-bikeレンタルはSOARが運営しています。
全車両は自転車安全対策協議会の賠償責任保険（上限1億円）に加入しています。
· SOAR is responsible for the maintenance and safety inspection of all e-bikes.
SOARはすべてのe-bikeの整備・安全点検に責任を負います。
· SOAR accepts no liability for accidents or injuries caused by the rider's own actions.
利用者の運転操作に起因する事故・けがについて、SOARは責任を負いません。
· By completing payment, the rider agrees to these terms and accepts full responsibility
for their own riding.
決済完了をもって、利用者はこの規約に同意し、自己の運転に全責任を負うものとします。
· Winter period (December–March): Use is at the rider's own risk.
GOANY accepts no liability for accidents during this period.
冬季（12月〜3月）のご利用は自己責任となります。
冬季期間中の事故についてGOANYは責任を負いかねます。

FAQ
Q: Do I need a driver's license?
A: No license is required to ride an e-bike in Japan.
運転免許は不要です。
Q: Can I make a reservation in advance?
A: No reservation is needed. Simply check availability on the day and pay via QR code.
事前予約は不要です。当日現地で空きを確認し、QRコードで決済してください。
Q: What if the e-bike is not available?
A: It may be in use — please try again later or the following day.
If the bike appears to be damaged or out of order, do NOT ride it.
Please contact us at info@soar-g.jp and we will arrange a full refund.
e-bikeがない場合、利用中の可能性があります。時間をおくか翌日にお試しください。
破損・故障が疑われる場合は絶対に使用せず、info@soar-g.jpまでご連絡ください。
全額返金対応いたします。
Q: What if it rains?
A: We recommend checking the weather before renting. No refunds are available once payment is made.
レンタル前に天気をご確認ください。決済後の返金はいたしかねます。
Q: Is the bike electric?
A: Yes. It is a pedal-assist e-bike (up to 24 km/h). You still need to pedal.
