Article 1 — Scope of Application

These Terms apply to all use of the car rental service provided by Goany (hereinafter "the Company"). By completing a reservation, you agree to these Terms in full.

Article 2 — Eligibility

• Must hold a valid Japanese driver's license (standard class or above) or a valid International Driving Permit (Geneva Convention countries only)

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must be able to pay in full by credit card in advance

Article 3 — Reservations & Payment

• A reservation is confirmed only after the Company has accepted your request and full payment has been received.

• Payment is processed via Stripe using a valid credit card. No cash or on-site payments accepted.

• Cancellation fees: 3+ days before pickup — free. 2 days to day before — 50%. Day of pickup — 100% (no refund).

Article 4 — Renter's Obligations

• Comply with all Japanese traffic laws and regulations

• No driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• No smoking inside the vehicle

• Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 7 passengers

• Do not sublease, lend, or use the vehicle for commercial purposes

• Return the vehicle to the designated parking spot with a full tank of fuel

Article 5 — Disclaimer

• The Company is not liable for accidents, theft, or vehicle damage caused by the renter's negligence.

• The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, earthquakes, or extreme weather.

• The Company is not responsible for loss or damage to the renter's personal belongings.

• Any damage resulting from violation of these Terms (e.g., drunk driving, unlicensed driving) is the full responsibility of the renter.

Article 6 — Personal Information

The Company handles personal information in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan) and related regulations. Personal data collected is used solely for the purpose of providing car rental services and will not be shared with third parties.

Article 7 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Gifu District Court as the court of first instance.
